Register by June 24, 2026 11:59 pm.

The Wealthsimple Monthly Millionaire contest ends on June 24, 2026 at 11:59 p.m. ET. The grand prize is $1,000,000 CAD, deposited directly into your Wealthsimple chequing account. You won’t have to wait months for a cheque. Any Canadian resident of the age of majority in their province can enter without making a purchase.

What the Wealthsimple Monthly Millionaire June Contest Pays Out

This contest has more than one draw. There are four weekly draws in June, each leading up to the million-dollar finale:

  • June 4: $25,000 grand prize
  • June 11: $50,000 grand prize
  • June 18: $100,000 grand prize
  • June 25: $1,000,000 grand prize

Besides the grand prizes, thousands of smaller cash prizes between $3 and $500 are given out every week. In week 4 alone, there are over 105,000 secondary prizes. Your entries carry over each week, so signing up early gives you four chances to win instead of just one.

How to Enter the Wealthsimple Monthly Millionaire Contest

Step 1: Register

Go to wealthsimple.com/en-ca/monthly-millionaire to sign up. You’ll need a Wealthsimple chequing account with at least $1 in it. After you register, you automatically get 500 entries.

Step 2: Stack your entries

Each dollar you deposit into Wealthsimple during the contest gives you one extra entry. For example, if you deposit $500 from another bank, you get 500 more entries on top of your first 500. If you refer a friend who adds at least $100 to their account, you get 5,000 entries for each referral, up to a maximum of 100,000 entries.

Step 3: Double everything with direct deposit

If you set up direct deposit for your paycheque or a government payment into your Wealthsimple chequing account, all your entries are doubled. You’ll get 1,000 base entries instead of 500, and every dollar you deposit counts for double. There’s no minimum amount needed. Any qualifying payroll or government direct deposit will double your entries.

The No-Purchase Entry Option

You don’t have to add money to your account to enter. With Wealthsimple’s no-purchase option, anyone can join by writing an original essay of at least 100 words on the topic “How I Would Grow My Wealth With One Million Dollars.” Your first essay gives you 500 entries. Each extra unique essay earns one entry, up to the 100,000 entry limit.

Submit via the official form at start.wealthsimple.com/to/mmefm42O. You must submit your essay before the June 24 close date.

It’s important to know that AI-generated essays are not allowed. Wealthsimple’s rules say that essays made with automated tools will be disqualified, so your essay must be your own work.

Many people miss out on the direct deposit multiplier. If your employer offers payroll direct deposit, moving your paycheque to Wealthsimple is free and doubles all your entries. This is the easiest way to boost your chances before the million-dollar draw on June 25.
