The OLG Beautiful Getaway Contest runs until July 20, 2026. The prize is simple: $50,000 in cash and a $50,000 travel voucher from an Ontario travel agency, for a total of $100,000 to spend on your dream trip. This contest is part of OLG’s FIFA promotion for the 2026 World Cup. If you already buy lottery tickets, you’re already partway there.

Here’s what you need to know before July 20.

Open to Ontario residents 18+.
Contest period: June 11 – July 20, 2026.
One (1) prize: $100,000 CAD total prize value ($50,000 travel voucher + $50,000 cash).
Draw on or after July 30, 2026.

What You Could Win

There is only one prize, and it will not be divided among multiple winners.

$50,000 CAD travel voucher, which you can use through an Ontario travel agency selected by OLG. They will help you plan a custom trip.
$50,000 CAD cash prize, paid directly to you with no conditions.

The draw will take place on or after July 30, 2026.

The travel voucher cannot be exchanged for cash, so if your trip costs less than $50,000, you will not receive the difference. The cash prize is yours to keep.

Who Can Enter the OLG Beautiful Getaway Contest

You must be an Ontario resident aged 18 or older. You also need a free Winner’s Edge account for in-store tickets or a free OLG.ca Player Account for online purchases. Both accounts are easy and free to set up.

If you already play the lottery on OLG.ca or use Winner’s Edge to scan tickets, you’re already set up.

How to Enter: Three Ways

Option 1: Buy Lottery Tickets In-Store

Purchase an eligible lottery ticket at any participating OLG retailer during the contest period (June 11 to July 20, 2026).
Log in to your Winner’s Edge account at winnersedge.olg.ca.
Go to “Enter Tickets” and scan or manually enter your ticket.
Each eligible ticket scanned earns one entry.

Eligible in-store lotto games include LOTTO MAX, LOTTO 6/49, DAILY GRAND, ONTARIO 49, LOTTARIO, PICK-2, PICK-3, PICK-4, DAILY KENO, POKER LOTTO, LIGHTNING LOTTO, and more. Many INSTANT tickets bought before or during the contest period also qualify. You can find the full list in the official rules.

Quick Tickets, Free Plays, replacement tickets, and cancelled tickets don’t count.

Option 2: Buy Tickets Online

Create or log in to your OLG.ca account.
Opt in to The Beautiful Getaway Contest. New players are automatically entered when they sign up. Existing players need to visit the promotions page and opt in themselves.
Purchase eligible lottery tickets on OLG.ca or the OLG App. Each purchase after opting in automatically earns one entry.

Eligible online games include LOTTO MAX, LOTTO 6/49, DAILY GRAND, ONTARIO 49, LOTTARIO, DAILY KENO, and PICK-2, PICK-3, and PICK-4.

New players get a bonus: sign up through the contest page and buy your first lottery ticket within 14 days, and you’ll receive a $10 Lottery Bonus on top of your contest entries.

Option 3: Free Mail-In Entry (No Purchase Necessary)

You can enter without spending any money. Here’s how to do it for free:

Handwrite on an 8.5″ x 11″ sheet of paper:
- Your full name, mailing address, phone number
- The email address linked to your Winner’s Edge or OLG.ca account
- The sentence: “I agree to The Beautiful Getaway Contest Official Rules and Regulations.”
- A minimum 100-word original essay describing where you’d go if you won and why
Mail your entry in a separate envelope with enough postage to:

PO Box 47521 North York RPO Don Mills, ON M3C 3S7.
- Mass mail-ins are not accepted.
Each valid mailed entry earns one entry. There’s no limit to how many you can send.

Entries must be postmarked by July 20, 2026, and received by 11:59:59 p.m. ET that day.

A Few Things Worth Knowing

There is no limit to the number of entries you can earn, and you can use all three entry methods. If you buy tickets in-store, opt in online, and mail in free entries, you increase your chances even more.

Your entries will not appear in your account during the contest. OLG will count them after the contest ends.

The skill-testing question is required. Before the prize is awarded, the winner must answer a math question on their own. This is a standard contest rule in Canada.
